Cedar City Ambassadors, Women In Business

Part of my Community Service activities is to be a member of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Group. We meet monthly at the Chamber Office and talk about new businesses, old businesses, and how we can help our business community prosper. A majority of the group are Women In Business.

Each month we meet to network with business owners at their place and learn about what they do and how we can help them grow. We also provide ribbon cuttings for those that are opening new establishments and/or revising an existing business.

Empanadas ready to eat

This month we helped First Empanada Factory celebrate their Grand Opening. They create Empanadas with a variety of fillings, flash freeze them, and market and sell them through Sysco. It’s a simple process but not without major capital investment.

The family run business is up and running and will continue to thrive through referrals and Sysco. We wish them the very best.
